What you'll do

  • Provide crisis intervention and management support to clients in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored support plans.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes in clients.
  • Offer addiction counseling and mental health counseling services to individuals facing various challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, documenting client progress and interventions.
  • Mentor clients by providing guidance, resources, and encouragement throughout their recovery journey.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work and behavioral health.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to empathize and connect with diverse populations.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in crisis intervention or crisis management within a behavioral health setting.
  • Background in social work or related fields, with knowledge of mental health counseling practices.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems for effective documentation and tracking of client progress.
