ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role you will be responsible for managing and expanding accounts with key corporate clients. You will provide a consultative approach to analyzing a client's requirements, then offer solutions that will enhance their internal and external communications. You will also research and uncover new business opportunities that will widen Tempest Technologies reach within the marketplace. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work closely with key internal stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, and Service to translate a complex list of requirements into useful insights for clients, aiding them in making sound technology decisions. To this end, you will help clients optimize efficiencies in their daily operations and offer a measurable return on their investment.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline

· Achieving quarterly and annual sales targets

· Managing a portfolio of Key Accounts

· New business development

· Managing client relationships at varying levels within the organization including: Business Owners, IT and Facilities Managers, Administrative Professionals, and End Users

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO:

· Understand and exhibit a consultative sales approach to determining a customer's communication technology needs

· Exhibit a comprehensive working knowledge of AV installation practices and procedures and have a detailed understanding of the products and services we offer

· Possess excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills

· Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in selling to Fortune 1000 corporations and government entities

· Have a proven track record of proactively developing new business. Researching, identifying and converting new opportunities, while maintaining existing client accounts

· Be able to conduct site surveys and develop a comprehensive scope of work

· Have strong computer skills, with experience in using Word, Excel and other MS Office Suite products

· Be able to write and deliver comprehensive proposals that are complete, accurate and promote profitable business

· Have experience in designing and implementing focused prospecting campaigns to increase sales and expand the existing customer base

· Meet or exceed monthly GP quotas

· Must be willing to travel for business, or training on occasion

· AV SALES EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
