HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Part-Time Security Officer the Roanoke, VA area to work a 2nd/3rd shift split schedule. This position offers a pay rate of $15.50/hr - paid weekly.

Qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security

Schedule:

Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs.

  • Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Requirements:

  • Current VA DCJS Card is required.
  • Prior security, military, and/or law enforcement experience is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Great report writing skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
