Duties

• Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, watering, administering medication and bathing if needed, and monitoring health status
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas through regular cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing supplies
• Assist in answering customer questions and resolving customer issues
• Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and presentable
• Must be ok working with bleach, picking up dog poop

Experience

• Previous kennel or animal care experience is highly preferred;
• Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a strong plus, providing insight into animal health needs
• Knowledge of pet grooming practices
• Customer service skills are important for engaging positively with customer and addressing their questions or concerns
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or equipment

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
