Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of packaging processes, adherence to FDA regulations, and familiarity with CGMP practices.

Duties

  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to package products according to specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
  • Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment.
  • Assist in assembly tasks as needed, contributing to the overall production process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize packaging efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the process.
  • Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP practices is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Experience using hand tools effectively in a production setting.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is desirable.
  • Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding the flow of materials in production.
