Position Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance and repair of the physical infostructure of the facility, this role includes performing routine inspections, having experience in PLC (Programmable Logic Control), responding to maintenance requests, reading schematics and troubleshooting issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry to ensure and maintain a safe and operational work environment.

What you'll do

• Perform Routine Inspections & Preventative Maintenance
• Troubleshoot & Repair Equipment/Systems
• Maintain Building Safety & OSHA Compliance
• General Facility Upkeep when requested
• Ability to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Clear reporting of maintenance needs, coordinating with management, and working with vendors or contractor
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are

• High School Diploma or GED
• Vocational Training in Plumbing, HVAC and Carpentry
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification
• Proficient in PLC programming
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification
• Experience with laser cutting and fabric laser cutters or ultrasonic cutting is a plus
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT)
• 1+ Years of Facility Maintenance Experience
