Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in oncology to support our Medical Surgical Oncology patients. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team environment, providing compassionate and thorough care to adults in various stages of treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and handle blood/blood products.
  • Monitor and manage patients receiving treatment, including those on clinical trials.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams, utilizing resources such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
  • Perform procedures including trach care, PICC line access, and wound care.
  • Participate in weekend coverage and support unit needs through floating as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of two years of recent oncology experience.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • ONS/ONCC Certification is required; OCN preferred.
  • Experience with chemo administration and handling of ports.
  • Compact license or Washington state license required.
