Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and comfort.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
  • Handle laundry responsibilities including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
  • Restock amenities such as toiletries, beverages, and other guest supplies to ensure availability at all times.
  • Follow safety procedures and proper cleaning protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold facility standards.
  • Support the housekeeping management team with inventory control and supply ordering when needed.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hospitality or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care—mopping, buffing, carpet cleaning—and sanitation practices.
  • Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or custodial operations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and assisting guests professionally.
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial cleaning equipment and chemical handling.
  • Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
