GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION



To work with our team to provide excellent service to our customers and ensure all customers have correct orders based on history, product knowledge, and customer request. Our purpose is also to make sure our sales team has the tools they need to continue to grow the company and increase sales.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



The list below will include many of the duties and responsibilities that need to be met as a CSR but is not limited to this list.

  • Communicate with customers on their product and delivery needs
    • Answer phone calls on the first ring, every time.
    • Enter orders from customers as they are given to us
    • Ensure all orders are accurately entered based on our system requirements and inventory availability
    • Communicate any known shortages or possible delivery issues to customers as soon as you are made aware
  • Enter all orders and answer any questions that are forwarded to the customer service email
  • Print all paperwork necessary for drivers, both local and freight as information from shipping is given to us
    • Including Bill of Ladings and invoices
    • Email when necessary Bill of Ladings to appropriate email addresses
    • Organize paperwork for shipping to collect and give to drivers
  • Work with our sales team to make sure their customers have updated and accurate "order guides" According to what they have ordered in the past and items their sales rep would like to have on each guide
  • Learn our warehoused products, both produced and purchased (box in – box out) to be able to give accurate information to customers and sales representatives when needed
  • Organize all your orders and paperwork according to delivery date 
  • Scan, process and file all invoices, bill of ladings and handwritten orders. 
    • Make sure all invoices for each day are "X'd" 
    • Each invoice should have the same price and be signed by the customer for this process
  • Process all credits drivers and the receiving department give you, whether by phone or in person
    • Each credit needs to be checked for correct pricing and product before printing
  • Make sure all orders that need added fees have the correct fee added
  • Book air shipments as necessary, either through American Airlines or through Southwest Airlines
  • Process all UPS/FedEx labels for each order that has to be shipped via these avenues
    • Make sure FedEx is scheduled to pick up any FedEx orders that need to be shipped

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



As a Customer Service Representative at Meats by Linz, you will wear many hats and take on many responsibilities other than those listed above. Our main concern will be ensuring the customer receives the product they need while providing exceptional service.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB



-High School diploma required - Associate degree or higher preferred.

-Experience with Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment

-Ability to analyze and solve problems

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy

-Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events.

-Strong initiative and ability to be assertive and persistent in meeting customer needs as well as internal needs.
