Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Submerged Arc Welders for projects located in and around Olean, NY.  This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Submerged Arc Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career

Job Scope:

  • Perform Sub Arc Welding of Steel Components for bridges, buildings, and industrial facilities
  • Operate Sub Arc LT7 and Semi-Auto SAW Machines
  • Maintain tools and equipment and report repair needs
  • Follow welding procedures and safety standards to ensure quality and compliance

Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Welder
    • Must be AWS D1.5 proficient
    • Experience with Sub Arc Welding processes
    • Able to Pass a Weld Test
    • Able to read and work from blueprints and shop drawings
    • Standard PPE
    • Reliable Means of Transportation
    • Prior bridge welding experience is preferred
