About the role

The GTM Engineer bridges marketing strategy with technical execution, ensuring products and campaigns are effectively launched, tracked, and optimized across digital platforms. This role combines a strong marketing foundation with technical expertise to build, automate, and manage go-to-market systems, helping drive measurable growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Go-to-Market Planning & Enablement

  2. Partner with marketing and product teams to define GTM strategies and translate them into technical workflows

  3. Implement marketing technology solutions to support campaign automation, lead tracking, and attribution for email, SMS, call center, iMessage, website landing pages and direct response platforms
  4. Collaborate on dashboards and reports to measure campaign performance and ROI
  5. Support product launches by setting up data pipelines, integrations, and analytics for tracking success

  6. Marketing Technology & Systems Management

  7. Administer and optimize marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Braze)

  8. Integrate various GTM tools such as analytics, advertising, and customer engagement platforms
  9. Maintain data quality across marketing and sales systems, ensuring accurate lead routing and segmentation

  10. Technical Implementation & Automation

  11. Build and maintain integrations between marketing tools, APIs, and data systems

  12. Create automated workflows that streamline lead management, campaign execution, and reporting
  13. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to campaigns, integrations, and system performance

  14. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  15. Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align technical infrastructure with GTM goals

  16. Translate marketing objectives into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams
  17. Educate marketing teams on new technologies, processes, and best practices for using GTM systems

  18. Data Analytics & Optimization

  19. Develop insights from marketing and sales data to identify opportunities for campaign optimization

  20. Support A/B testing, audience segmentation, and funnel analysis
  21. Recommend improvements to enhance targeting, conversion, and pipeline velocity

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing operations, growth marketing, or a technical marketing role
  • Proven experience working with marketing technology stacks and data-driven campaign execution
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, SendGrid, Telnyx)
  • Working knowledge of APIs, data connectors, and integration platforms (e.g., Make, Zapier, Segment)
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SQL or basic scripting (Python, JavaScript) for data manipulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a growth mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple GTM projects simultaneously
  • Passion for leveraging technology to enhance marketing performance and customer experience for growth
