We are looking to fill a Full Time Pharmacy Technician position, Monday – Friday variable schedule between 7:00am-7:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Compound intravenous solutions, TPN, antibiotics, hydration and other IV medications.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy clean room and it's equipment as described in company policy and procedure manual.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of large volume IV solutions, electrolytes, and supplies in the pharmacy clean room.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking incoming medications and supplies.
  • Process TPN and prescription labels.
  • Maintain lab logs (daily and monthly cleaning of lab, lab QA/QC logs, temperature logs).
  • Assist with warehouse and pharmacy office duties as needed.
  • Assists Pharmacist, as needed, in preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, and other duties.
  • Other duties may be assigned at anytime via verbal or written instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

IV experience preferred, but not required.

Sterile compounding experience is preferred, but not required.

LICENSES

Current Pharmacy Technician License.

Job Type: Full-time
