Are you passionate about creating unforgettable wedding experiences? Embassy Suites Rockford is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to lead our wedding and social event sales efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in the wedding industry who thrives on building relationships and delivering exceptional events.
What You'll Do
- Drive catering revenue with a primary focus on weddings and social events
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maintain a strong booking pipeline
- Lead client meetings and site tours, crafting personalized proposals that wow
- Collaborate with our Director of Sales and internal teams to ensure flawless event execution
- Represent Embassy Suites at bridal shows, community events, and industry networking opportunities
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media and promotional materials
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in event or wedding sales (hotel experience preferred)
- A proven ability to build relationships and close sales
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility with scheduling; typically working Tuesday-Saturday
- Valid driver's license and insurability for occasional travel
