The Timeshare Resort Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experience, and managing financial records. This role requires a blend of hospitality management and bookkeeping skills to maintain smooth operations and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:
- Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including reservations, accounting/bookkeeping activities, and perform administrative duties for the Board of Directors.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial plans, and operational reports.
- Oversee financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Staff Management:
- Hire and perform on-boarding activities for new employees.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Coordinate with the marketing department to promote the resort and its services.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract more guests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field desired but not a requirement.
- Proven experience in resort management, preferably in a timeshare setting.
- Strong skills in financial management and accounting software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $43, $52,641.82 per year
