Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and be at the forefront of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping projects, including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and hardscape installation. Your hands-on work will help create inviting gardens, well-maintained lawns, and stunning outdoor features that enhance property value and aesthetic appeal. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, construction, and landscape management while working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and vibrant landscapes
  • Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, and shrubbery upkeep
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators for various landscaping projects
  • Support hardscape installation efforts including patio paving, retaining walls, walkways, and other stonework
  • Conduct irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency
  • Carry out snow plowing and removal during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible
  • Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and efficiency during all tasks

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
  • Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance
  • Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or similar equipment is a plus
  • Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols in outdoor environments
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and snow plowing
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
