Summary

Park-9 Servers provide customer service when greeting our canine and human guests in a cheerful and helpful manner; offering daily drink specials and making recommendations; taking beverage orders from customers and relaying to the bartenders; serving wine, beer, and cocktails to bar patrons, upselling where appropriate; bussing tables in the bar area; calculating and presenting bill and collecting payment for each order.

Anticipated schedule -Thursday-Friday nights, Saturday afternoon & nights; occasional Sundays for special events.

Responsibilities

· Provide a fun, safe and friendly atmosphere for customers, while providing excellent service serving cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.

· Greet guests, take orders, correctly enter beverage orders into Square terminal, and ensure efficient delivery of items.

· Leverage wine, spirits, and cocktail expertise to make knowledge-based recommendations to patrons.

· Develop relationships with customers easily and clean during downtime.

· Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, by proactively bussing tables, removing dirty dishes, glassware, flatware, and other items from tables and countertops, and transport to dish area

· Ensure adequate supply of clean and accurate menus for service

· Ensure consistent presentation- utilize appropriate stemware/glassware as required by company standards, polish glassware, stock bar supplies to par level

· Confirm guests are of legal drinking age by verifying identification

· Verify Square receipt to ensure accuracy.

· May assist in setup and execution of special events

  • Complete cash turn-ins, and distribute accordingly

· Perform all opening and closing procedures as directed.

Education & Experience

· High School Diploma/GED

· Minimum of 1 year experience serving in high volume environment preferred

· Must be 21 years of age.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Ability to provide an upbeat, energetic, fun atmosphere at all times

· Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with guests and other staff members

· Ability to work late night shifts, holidays and weekends

Physical Requirements

· Bending, lifting, carrying trays up to maximum weight of lbs

· Constantly lifting and carrying trays up to a maximum of 15lbs

· Standing & walking required for 8-10 hour shifts

· Must maintain appropriate appearance standards
