Disrupters wanted for this first-of-its kind, neurodiversity-affirming, multidisciplinary therapy center. The Lark Center is a thriving therapy practice located in the heart of Norwood center. Our multidisciplinary team of clinicians consists of occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, educators, and other clinicians who are all passionate about  neurodiversity-affirming care, collaboration, and advocacy. We offer individual therapy, small group therapy, specialized programming, and school contracts, among other services. The ideal candidate for this position is an OT, PT, SLP, or MHC  who is mission-driven, creative, open-minded, ambitious, a strong communicator, and who has the ability to adapt to fluctuating needs and presentations of their clients and families. Part-time positions are also available. 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality multi- and/or trans-disciplinary therapy services in  individual and small group sessions, for children, teens, and young adults.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary intakes, evaluations and re-evaluations using a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach.
  • Support the Lark Center's mission and vision by contributing to creation of  innovative curricula, materials, and programs, and through participation in development and outreach initiatives.
  • Produce documentation that is thorough, timely, and consistent with The Lark Center's strengths-based methodology.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, assistants, fieldwork students, interns, families, and outside agencies as is in the best interest of your clients and reflects TLC's mission, vision, and values.
  • Ensure clients' confidentiality, dignity, and safety at all times.
  • Maintain professional licensure and adhere to all professional practice standards.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, supervisory meetings,  and trainings.
  • Carry professional liability insurance. *Recommended, but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited OT, SLP, PT, or mental health/counseling program.
  • Current and valid licensure to practice independently in Massachusetts.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in your clinical field.
  • Experience with neurodivergent children and teens, including non-speaking individuals.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ND-affirming best practices, or willingness to learn
  • Prior experience in private practice is preferred.
  • Prior experience in schools practice is helpful.
  • Ability to walk, run, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs as necessary for client safety.
