We're seeking an experienced
Fractional CFO Consultant
to act as a
strategic financial advisor
to our clients. In this role, you'll partner directly with founders and executive teams to provide
financial leadership, strategic planning, and capital guidance
that fuels growth and investor confidence.

This is a
remote, part-time consulting engagement
--ideal for a
seasoned finance executive
who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Advisory

  • Advise CEOs and leadership teams on financial strategy, operations, and scalability.
  • Provide actionable insights that drive profitability, cash flow optimization, and business growth.
  • Partner with internal finance teams to align short- and long-term objectives.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and KPI dashboards.
  • Deliver accurate, insight-driven reporting in collaboration with controllers and accounting teams.
  • Translate financial data into strategic recommendations.

Capital Strategy & Fundraising

  • Support seed, venture, and growth-stage fundraising efforts.
  • Build investor-ready materials including financial models, capitalization tables, and pitch decks.
  • Partner with investors, lenders, and legal teams to close financing transactions.

Debt & Capital Structure

  • Evaluate and structure financing alternatives to optimize cost and risk.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with institutional and alternative lenders.

Mergers & Acquisitions (as needed)

  • Advise on deal structure, valuation, due diligence, and integration.
  • Oversee transaction processes and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.

Required
Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in senior financial leadership (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent).
  • Proven success advising investor-backed or high-growth companies.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and U.S. GAAP compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and advisory skills with executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Preferred

  • Advanced credentials such as MBA, CPA, or MSF.
  • Experience across multiple industries or portfolio clients.
  • Familiarity with equity fundraising, venture capital, or private equity environments.
