Role Description
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and process-driven
Industrial Engineer
to join their Operations & Continuous Improvement team. This role is central to optimizing production workflows, improving operational efficiency, and supporting large-scale manufacturing initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, a passion for data-driven decision making, and hands-on experience with process engineering, layout optimization, and Lean methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and throughput.
- Lead Lean initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and waste reduction activities.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to standardize processes and improve consistency across operations.
Industrial Engineering & Layout Design
- Develop optimized facility layouts, workstation designs, and material-handling solutions.
- Conduct time studies, motion studies, and labor utilization analysis to improve productivity.
- Support ergonomic assessments and implement improvements to enhance worker safety and comfort.
Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
- Collect and analyze operational data to develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Identify trends that impact cost, quality, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Present insights and recommendations to operations leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams on strategic improvement projects.
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) by ensuring that new products are designed for manufacturability and scalability.
- Collaborate on automation, tooling, and equipment improvement initiatives.
Quality & Cost Optimization
- Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective action initiatives related to quality deviations.
- Lead cost-reduction projects through process redesign, vendor optimization, and material efficiency improvements.
- Ensure all processes adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Industrial Engineering

Manufacturing Engineering

Mechanical Engineering
, or a related field. - 2–6 years of experience in industrial engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing optimization.
- Strong proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and data tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab).
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of supply chain, material flow, and production planning concepts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification.
- Experience working in high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and digital manufacturing tools.
- Exposure to automation, robotics, or facility layout projects.
- Knowledge of simulation software (Arena, FlexSim, or similar).
