SkyWater Search Partners is excited to be partnering with a growing, innovative manufacturing company as they look to hire an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations. This role will focus on payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and system/process management, serving as a trusted partner to leadership and employees.

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented HR Generalist who is comfortable taking ownership of tasks, collaborating closely with HR leadership, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, growth-minded manufacturing environment.

The target base compensation for this role is $68,000 – $80,000, depending on experience. The role will be on site 5 days a week in Brooklyn Park facility with occasional travel to other MN locations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bi-weekly multi-state payroll
  • Handle employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR systems
  • Administer benefits and act as liaison with vendors
  • Oversee leave of absence processes
  • Ensure compliance across ~15 states
  • Support ongoing benefits and system changes

Desired Skills And Experience

  • 3–6+ years of experience
  • Manufacturing or similar environment ideal
  • Strong technical HR skills: payroll, benefits, systems, and compliance
  • Detail-oriented and thorough; able to "dot the I's and cross the T's"
  • Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
  • Curious problem-solver, collaborative but independent
  • Resilient, practical, and down-to-earth; able to thrive in a hands-on manufacturing culture
