Position Summary

The Lead Full Stack Engineer (LFSE) reports to the Software Engineer Manager and is responsible for leading the development and implementation of complex software applications across the entire technology stack. The role requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end development, as well as expertise in the design, architecture, and deployment of software systems.


Essential Job Functions
  • Leading the technical design of software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Developing and implementing high-quality software code across the entire technology stack, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Implementing and adhering to software development best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Write well-structured documentation and contribute to demos and marketing material
  • Participating in the recruitment and hiring process of new developers, and contributing to the growth and development of the engineering team.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education/Training
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Applicable fields and disciplines include business, information technology, social sciences, humanities, medical sciences, public health, public administration, public policy, education, and related fields depending on subsequent experience.

Experience
  • Five years of relevant work experience in software engineering, project management, information technology
  • Familiar with software engineering projects and able to navigate around in technical documentations / details and read code
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and analytical skills and ability to effectively to communicate technology needs from client to development team and vice versa, required
  • Experiences in the design of API products or data modeling

  • Proven writing skills, preferred
