Memorial Hermann The Woodlands now has 447 beds. This Trauma Med/Surg unit has 36 beds, all specialty in trauma. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-5. Can also hold regular Med/Surg patients. Bring your commitment to excellence to Memorial Hermann, where your contributions are appreciated & your voice matters.From a Level 1 trauma center to the #2 rehabilitation hospital in the country, to our partnership with the Houston Rockets, you can practice with top professionals.Earn more for your expertise through our Professional Nurse Advancement Program.RN - Trauma Med/Surg (Woodlands) FT/Nights; every other weekend requiredTrauma patient types will include: falls, MVA, gunshot wounds, auto vs pedestrian, attempted suicides & blunt trauma.BSN because of Magnet statusAt least 1 year of acute care hospital nursing experienceCollaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.
