As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting. You will lead a dynamic team while overseeing all aspects of accounting, compliance, and financial management. Your expertise will drive our commitment to excellence, enabling us to achieve our organizational goals and maintain robust financial health.

What you'll do

  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Manage the full cycle of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and manage financial risks.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of any findings.
  • Utilize Lightspeed accounting software to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Experience

  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping and financial report writing.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial analysis and management with a solid understanding of cash flow management principles.
  • Proficiency in using various financial software tools for efficient account reconciliation and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100, $120,000.00 per year
