About the Opportunity

NuWest is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Kirkland, Washington. This role provides critical care support to NICU and adult patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. You'll collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team while delivering exceptional patient care.

Assignment Details

  • Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Start Date: December 2, 2025
  • Patient Population: NICU and adult critical care

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care to NICU and adult patients
  • Ventilator management, airway maintenance, and oxygen therapy
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
  • Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies
  • Accurately document all patient care in the EMR

Requirements

  • Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in WA on hand (pending license will not be accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical RT experience, including NICU exposure
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
  • Previous travel or contract experience preferred
