Job Description And Duties
Working under the supervision of a Caltrans Maintenance Area Superintendent, incumbent coordinates and assigns work of employees engaged in the maintenance of travel way and/or landscape of the State Highways. Enforces safety and health policies and procedures as contained in the Department's Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP); knowledge of environmental, storm water, emergencies, natural disaster, accident prevention techniques, principles of effective supervision and safe work practices. Applications will be screened and only most qualified will be considered. MUST BE CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEE OR ON VALID CERTIFICATION LIST FOR CLASSIFICATION.
