Clinic Supervisor

Kansas Gastroenterology is a leading GI practice in the Wichita region. We are currently seeking a Clinic Supervisor to join our team and lead clinic operations at our east side Wichita office.

We are looking for an experienced healthcare professional, driven to ensure a patient-focused experience, while meeting operational and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Clinic Supervisor, you will provide oversight and supervision to both the operational and administrative functions of the clinic. You will lead a team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient services and collaborate with various departments to maintain smooth clinic operations.

Core duties include:

· Supervise and manage Medical Assistants' staff and day-to-day operations.

· Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

· Review physician activity data and support clinic planning and forecasting.

· Monitor patient services, including workflow and scheduling efficiency.

· Interview, hire, orient, and evaluate clinic staff; manage performance reviews and disciplinary processes.

· Collaborate with providers and internal teams to resolve operational issues.

· Promote a culture of high-quality care, patient safety, and staff engagement.

· Lead projects related to space planning, renovations, and emergency preparedness.

Supervision & Collaboration:

· Executive Director

· Collaborates with: Physicians, Midlevels, and senior leadership

Qualifications:

Education:

· Baccalaureate degree required, although a minimum of three years' supervisory experience in a medical practice would be considered

· Nursing license or other clinic-related degree highly preferred

· Certification or commensurate experience in Clinic Administration preferred

Experience

· Minimum of 2 years' clinic administration experience required

· At least 5 years' experience in a clinic setting strongly preferred

· Knowledge of HIPAA, MIPS, Compliance, as well as a general understanding of HR

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

· Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement change

· Familiarity with medical coding, billing regulations, and healthcare compliance

· Experience in cost containment, staffing, scheduling, and policy development

Licensure/Certification:

· Current active RN license preferred (or eligibility for licensure, depending on educational background)

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
