JOB MISSION:
The Global HR Operations Leader is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing HR operational strategies across all regions to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency. This role oversees global processes, and service delivery, driving excellence in associate experience, data integrity, and operational scalability. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in HR technology, process improvement, and global workforce management.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a global HR operations strategy aligned with business goals.
- Partner with regional HR leaders to ensure consistent and scalable HR practices.
- Lead global initiatives to improve HR service delivery and employee experience.
HR Systems & Technology
- Drive digital transformation and automation of HR processes.
Process & Policy Management
- Standardize and streamline HR processes globally, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, data privacy regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain global HR policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure global HR operations comply with local labor laws, data privacy regulations, and internal policies.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and establish HR Governance.
- Manage centralized associate relations (i.e. NB Speak Up).
- Responsible for the oversight of employment authorization including Visa coordination (ex; I-9 US).
Data & Analytics
- Provide strategic insights through HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Support leadership with data-driven decision-making and workforce planning.
Project Management
- Lead or support global HR projects such as system implementations, policy harmonization, and organizational changes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Cross-functional collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, Total Rewards and IC), regional HR teams, payroll and finance to deliver One NB approach.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing global HR operations team.
- Promote collaboration, development, and accountability across regions.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in HR operations, operations, or strategy with at least 2 years in a global or regional capacity.
- Expertise in HRIS systems, process optimization, and global compliance.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
- Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization.

Flexible Work Schedule
For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
