Specific Skills Needed:

CPA (preferred) and cash/banking accounting experience, with strong analytical skills in GL accounting rather than primarily transactional experience.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Supply Chain Sr. Planner is responsible for contributing to profit and growth of all channels of trade of the Wholesale Division by end to end operational oversight of marketing led initiatives on strategic and brand-driving product placements. Autonomously ensure cross functional alignment on goals, timelines, and priorities, communicating to the operational support groups and leadership. With a deep knowledge of SAP, the specialist executes market strategies by creating and monitoring order entry capabilities. The specialist also maintains supply for a few top high visibility customers, and is ultimately responsible for their service and operational excellence. The Sr Planner has one direct report.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  1. Owns end to end management of marketing initiatives and top projects (business drivers) across all wholesale customers and brands
  2. Sets project standards and best practices for execution, communication, and tracking of projects both within the Supply Chain team and with external partners, providing effective ideas and solutions consistently.
  3. Provides executive ready weekly and ad hoc status updates on progress or success of the initiatives
  4. Work with external teams such as sales, marketing, brand, product, sales operations, go to market, global supply chain, global NPI. Maintain positive relationships with teams and use frequent touchbases and meetings to create common alignment
  5. Proactively anticipates risks and constraints, proposing mitigation plans before issues impact service or revenue.
  6. Escalate and resolve issues as needed through expert relationship management, problem solving, and solutions based thinking

GO TO MARKET

  1. Serves as a subject matter expert on order execution, logic, and SAP controls related to go to market strategy
  2. Partners with brand, product, and sales leadership to evaluate trade-offs and recommend execution paths that balance strategy, inventory, and service
  3. Reviews complex order rejections and exceptions, making judgment calls and influencing decisions across functions
  4. Identifies systemic GTM execution issues and leads improvements or policy changes

PLANNING

  1. Owns forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service performance for assigned clients, with accountability for results
  2. Develops insights and forward looking analysis to identify risks and opportunities
  3. Leads customer level inventory and service discussions with sales and leadership
  4. Establishes planning routines and standards tailored to the account behavior

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
 in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain or related fields

5+ years' experience in similar roles

  1. Robust quantitative approach to discussions
  2. Strong analytical and mathematical skills to provide statistics and metrics
  3. Ability to turn data into useful insights with proven examples
  4. Excellent PC skills including MS Office & SAP
  5. Advanced Excel Skill set – ability/aptitude to learn/create spreadsheets using advanced formulas (Lookups, IF statements, pivot tables)
  6. Strong PowerPoint skills – proven experience with creating and communicating to presentation deck
  7. Experience working on a legacy/enterprise database system and input and retrieve data from multiple sources and the ability to draw data driven solutions
  8. Database – ability/aptitude to access reports, build and manipulate queries
  9. Experience with a planning software
  10. Excellent communication skills and coordination capabilities
  11. Ability to drive conversation and influence peers
  12. Ability to work and make informed decisions in fast paced environments
  13. Ability to learn complex data relationships quickly – Agile Mindset
  14. Knowledge of fashion Sales cycles and buying practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience of the fashion and accessories industry
  2. Experience with Order Management cycles
  3. SAP AFS1 experience
  4. Business Intelligence – ability to create and update reports intelligence reports (SAP Business Objects)
  5. DPM knowledge
  6. Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau
  7. Experience with Automation software such as Power Automate
  8. Experience with programming through Python, Visual Basic or Dax
  9. Proven History with leading meetings
