The Role:

In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing an assigned mortgage servicing portfolio by ensuring the accuracy of all loan-related activities. You'll deliver exceptional member service while maintaining strict compliance with credit union policies, state and federal regulations, and investor guidelines. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure a positive member experience and the smooth management of our mortgage servicing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service by addressing member and staff inquiries related to mortgage loans, including payoffs, insurance, and tax payments.
  • Manage and monitor the assigned mortgage servicing portfolio, performing necessary loan maintenance, reporting, and documentation updates.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Department to reconcile General Ledgers and ensure the accuracy of loan-related transactions.
  • Review and complete subordination and modification requests, and assist with annual escrow analysis and disbursements to ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines.
  • Oversee lien perfection and release processes to maintain legal and financial compliance.
  • Disseminate updates from AllRegs and ensure internal procedures align with current regulations and best practices.
  • Stay informed of credit union policies and applicable State and Federal regulations, participating in ongoing training to remain current.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the credit union's goals and objectives.

What You'll Need to Be Qualified:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years of experience in mortgage servicing or processing required
