Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to calls, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to incoming calls and radio communications, dispatching security-related personnel as needed throughout the location.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all incidents, communications, and dispatch activities in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, tenants, and staff with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and notify appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points, and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and on-site teams to relay important information and updates.
• Support regular and random patrols by dispatching security-related personnel to various areas of the business and perimeter as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
