The Marketing Manager will manage multiple marketing workstreams simultaneously, set priorities, establish timelines, and ensure nothing stalls or gets lost. This role oversees day-to-day marketing operations, manages outside vendors and freelancers. Success in this role requires someone who thrives on accountability, follow-through, and turning strategy into finished, high-quality deliverables.

Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, in-office initially with potential for future hybrid/remote flexibility

Responsibilities
Marketing Ownership & Execution
  • Take ownership of marketing initiatives from concept through launch, reporting, and optimization.
  • Translate high-level goals into clear plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Keep multiple marketing tracks moving at once without losing momentum or focus.
Ensure all marketing efforts align with company priorities and operational capacity.
Residential & Commercial Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and execute targeted strategies for both Residential homeowners and Commercial clients, adjusting tone, messaging, and channels accordingly.
  • Build campaigns that drive residential service inquiries while supporting long-term commercial brand positioning.
Conduct audience and market research to identify opportunities, seasonal trends, and gaps.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
  • Oversee paid media and lead generation efforts (Google Ads, Google Local Services, Meta, etc.) with a strong focus on ROI.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify underperforming tactics, and reallocate budgets based on data.
  • Partner closely with operations to align promotions with workforce availability and service demand.
Deliver clear, regular reporting with insights and next steps—not just metrics.
Content, Social & Brand Presence
  • Own the content strategy and calendar, ensuring consistent, high-quality output across channels.
  • Direct and manage the Social Media Coordinator to execute day-to-day content and publishing.
  • Ensure all content supports SEO, reflects company values, and builds trust with target audiences.
Coordinate content needs with internal teams (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction) to capture real-world stories and visuals.
Vendor & Freelancer Management
  • Identify, hire, and manage outside freelancers and agencies (video, photography, copywriting, SEO, PPC, etc.).
  • Set clear expectations, timelines, and quality standards for all outsourced work.
Ensure vendors are delivering work that meets brand standards and performance goals.
Reputation & Community Marketing
  • Oversee review monitoring and response across Google, Yelp, Facebook, and other platforms.
  • Implement scalable review-generation and referral strategies.
  • Plan and manage community sponsorships, events, and partnerships that build local visibility and trust.
Represent the company at relevant community and industry events as needed.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Supervise and coach the Social Media Coordinator.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and field teams.
  • Act as the central point of accountability for marketing execution and follow-through.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in home services, trades, construction, or customer-focused industries.
  • Proven ability to execute campaigns end-to-end, not just plan them.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Experience managing freelancers, agencies, or outsourced marketing partners.
  • Solid understanding of local SEO, paid search, paid social, and reputation platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and ROI.
  • Strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills.
