Hello House For Women is a great opportunity for candidates who are passionate about working with individuals on their path to recovery. The expanded, 28-bed space in Dorchester offers trauma-informed and integrated clinical support services for women living with substance abuse disorders.
As Program Director, you'll have a dynamic and critical role overseeing the day to day program services to promote sensitive and therapeutic treatment for clients in recovery of substance use, mental health, or co-occurring disorders. As Program Director you will ensure the coordination, delivery, and documentation of services are completed, informed by best-practices, and produce high quality outcomes for clients in the recovery home while also supporting the professional growth of a staff of recovery specialists and case managers.
Program Director Key Responsibilities:
- Promote individualized care and treatment planning to enhance an individual's ability to recover from substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders
- Use all forms of treatment modalities, including Medication Assisted treatment (MAT), Trauma Informed Care, and a Harm Reduction model of recovery.
- Develop staff capabilities and manage employees according to company policies and procedures. Provide regular supervision, performance evaluations and complete documentation related to employee job performance.
- Enhance and develop program services to ensure they are relevant, informed by best-practices, and produce high quality outcomes for clients.
- Direct the funding and implementation of the budget including maintaining client census and related matters.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process of new staff including interviews and selection.
- Maintain and nurture regulatory and community relationships and resources. Grow and develop program contacts to enhance referral outcomes and program quality.
- Develop and utilize tools for evaluating program performance and ensure that all programming is conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of funding agencies, best practices, and established Volunteers of America Policies and Procedures.
- Complete required clinical documentation through our electronic medical records system.
- Actively ensure that all staff are trained and supported to provide the best quality of treatment to the individuals we serve.
- Complete Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) training and provide training and guidance to program staff. Insure the program is meeting expectations of MAT guidelines.
- Perform other duties as requested or required.
The Program Director role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. As Program Director, you will bring the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
- At least five years of multifaceted substance abuse disorder treatment experience.
- A minimum of two years of management experience, preferably in a residential treatment and/or behavioral health setting.
- Ability to train and provide services thorough a diverse set of treatment modalities (including but not limited to: Harm reduction, Medication Assisted Treatment, and Trauma Informed Care).
- Computer proficiency in electronic health records, Microsoft Word and Outlook is required.
