Job Description

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and provide outstanding customer service while addressing any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior or conditions at the commercial real estate location.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document all incidents and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report maintenance issues or hazards identified during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
