Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Auto Mechanic to join our automotive service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with automotive electrical systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. AT LEAST 2+ YEARS IN AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

We are a family-owned business that has been servicing the Denver area for over 20+ years and looking to add to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive schematics and electrical testing tools
  • Conduct repairs on transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension, shocks & struts, and brake systems
  • Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance procedures
  • Repair and replace automotive components including air brakes, shocks, struts, and other mechanical parts
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs
  • Conduct auto body repairs and welding as needed
  • Maintain detailed repair records and communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work meets industry standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, preferably within a dealership setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of transmissions, diesel engines, ADAS systems, and automotive electrical systems
  • Proficiency with schematics, auto estimating software, and maintenance procedures for GM vehicles
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Excellent understanding of vehicle maintenance including oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire service, and brake repair
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately
  • Customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly to clients
  • Knowledge of auto body repair processes is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
