Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.

Duties

  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and social skills.
  • Incorporate various teaching methods, including literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
  • Support children with special needs through early intervention strategies and individualized attention.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with child welfare regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
  • Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
  • Background in Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is advantageous.
  • Ability to create inclusive learning experiences for all students, including those requiring special education services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
