POSITION OVERVIEW:

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Foundation Operations for a highly mission-driven healthcare organization. The Director will partner closely with executive leadership to drive strategic projects, cross-department collaboration, and operational excellence. This position is ideal for a mission-driven, compassionate leader experienced in complex healthcare or clinical environments. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) based in Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead foundation and executive-level projects supporting organizational growth and division-wide initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop strategy, oversee project execution, and strengthen operational impact.
• Collaborate across departments to drive alignment, communication, and workflow effectiveness.
• Serve as a key liaison on high-level initiatives requiring coordination, discretion, and professionalism.
• Represent leadership in meetings, ensuring follow-through, documentation, and timely execution of priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated progressive leadership experience in healthcare, hospital, or clinical settings.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate across diverse teams.
• High adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and alignment with mission-centered nonprofit work.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to navigate executive stakeholders.
