This role will take ownership of ODA platform operations, data warehouse architecture, performance tuning, ETL/ELT pipelines, and business-facing solution delivery across the data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle ODA & Database Administration

- Conduct ODA environment audits and deliver stabilization reports with prioritized remediation recommendations.
Enterprise Data Warehouse Architecture
- Design and implement logical and physical data models supporting enterprise analytics, reporting, and BI platforms.
- Apply deep DW modeling expertise including star/snowflake schemas, SCD types (1/2/3), and fact/dimension design best practices.

- Develop runbooks, deployment checklists, and automation scripts for consistent and scalable delivery.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust DW solutions.
Platform Operations & Governance
- Enforce SDLC, ITIL, change management, release processes, and incident workflows.
- Support on-call rotations, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis for DW/ODA ecosystems.
- Produce detailed architecture diagrams, operational documentation, knowledge-transfer materials, and failover procedures.
- Assist in data migration and modernization initiatives (on-prem cloud; Oracle → cloud DW platforms).
Modernization & Automation
- Support integration efforts with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, OCI, Azure Synapse, and others.
- Use automation/configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform) to streamline deployments and environment management.
- Automate RMAN verification, environment health checks, and monitoring processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Data Warehousing roles with increasing responsibility.
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Database and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) administration, including installation, patching, RAC/AH configuration, RMAN, and performance tuning.
- Deep expertise in dimensional data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), SCD 1/2/3, and enterprise data architecture.

- Familiarity with integration across major DW platforms: Oracle Exadata, ODA, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for backup/recovery, high-availability, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Experience in cloud migration of Oracle-based DW workloads (OCI, AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools: Informatica, Talend, ODI, DataStage, Airflow, or similar.
