Role Overview 

As an Assistant Manager, Fulfillment, you play a pivotal role in our fulfillment operations to ensure the highest standards of product quality and operational efficiency. You prioritize quality and safety while implementing strategic initiatives across the facility, taking responsibility for the overall success of the operation. This role involves demonstrating accountability for all items entering the facility and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team excellence.

In this role, you will:

Oversee the people management and development of the Fulfillment team, including scheduling and coaching employees to meet operational goals, performance management, training and personnel escalationsSupport the day-to-day and overall success of the site, including open and close procedures and good cross-functional teamingUnderstand daily operational and strategic goals and proactively calls out risks or issues that could prevent the team from meeting their goals. Responsible for the outcomes for the Fulfillment team, including Cost Per Order (CPO), fulfillment accuracy, process accuracyManage inventory and supply replenishment for Fulfillment needsSupports the quality control of inventory, inbound and outbound processes to ensure an optimal client experienceSupport SOP creation for proper quality control expectations within FulfillmentProactively works to increase employee engagement by modeling GOAT's core values and promoting a culture of safety and teamworkWork in a dynamic warehouse environment with heavy equipment

We are looking for: 

2-5 years of experience managing a team in an operational settingStrong analytical skills to identify issues and assess productivityExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectivelyHighly organized with attention to detail and training abilitiesQuick learner and self-starter, capable of handling increasing responsibilities under pressureKnowledge and passion for sneakers, including familiarity with industry trendsAbility to lift and move boxes (up to 35 pounds)Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak periods to meet business demands
