We here at Techniserv, Inc are seeking a Mechanical Designer (3D) to join our talented Design team.

About the Role:

This position is onsite in Berwick, PA with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00AM - 4:00PM. The hourly range for this position is $26.00/hr. to $29.00/hr., with an annual bonus. An excellent benefits package with insurance, education, and 401k is also included.

The Mechanical Designer position works within our Sanitary Process Equipment Design Group and is available for individuals with experience in the following areas:

Required Experience:

  • 3 years of experience.
  • AS or AAS in Mechanical Design/CAD Drafting/Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar required.
  • BS Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/CAD/Engineering Technology (preferred).
  • Process Design expertise (Pumps/Heat Exchangers/Vessels/Line sizing, etc) (preferred).
  • 3D CAD experience, Autodesk Inventor preferred.
  • Familiar with Fluid Process in the Pharmaceutical & Biotech industries.
  • Ability to understand P&ID drawings.
  • Bioreactor and/or Pharmaceutical processes (preferred).
  • Experience in high purity piping & equipment design (preferred).
  • Familiar with ASME BPE requirements (preferred).

Job Details:

  • Read and interpret P&IDs.
  • 3D piping design.
  • 2D drawing (P&IDs, etc).
  • Drafting (detail drawings).
  • Moderate travel may be required (less than 15%) with a Travel Bonus Program.
  • Perform all other duties and functions as assigned.
