Description

Rothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a per diem Clinical Triage Advanced Practice Provider to support our Florida team. This is a fully remote position.

Schedule: As needed; Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

The Clinical Triage Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls regarding a wide range of clinical and administrative concerns, including symptom management, post-operative issues, medication questions, fracture care, and scheduling-related inquiries. 

Essential Duties:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal STAT calls.
  • Triage and assess clinical situations remotely to determine urgency and appropriate next steps.
  • Provide immediate clinical recommendations or escalate cases to physicians when needed.
  • Collaborate with care teams to ensure timely patient interventions.
  • Document all call interactions, clinical assessments and recommendations accurately in EPIC.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • One call resolution. 

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Physician Assistant
  • Active Florida Physician Assistant License 
  • Experience as a PA in Orthopaedic setting
  • Customer Service skills
