Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
  • Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
  • Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure proper merchandising standards
  • Stock shelves, organize inventory, and manage stock levels efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling calls and inquiries
  • Assist in supervising team members when needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Experience

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math skills
  • Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is advantageous
  • Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise
  • Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while maintaining friendly interactions with customers

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about retail sales who enjoy engaging with customers and working as part of a dynamic team.
