Business Unit Controller
to lead financial operations across
seven business units
within a high-performing division generating approximately

Location:
Northern Indiana

Relocation Support:
Lump sum assistance, area tours, and temporary housing available

Compensation:
$100K–$130K base, up to $150K for top-tier candidates

Bonus Potential

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 7–10 years in controllership roles, must mostly be in manufacturing
  • Scope: Multi-site financial oversight, for entities with $150M+ in revenue
  • Industry Exposure: Agriculture or heavy equipment (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere, Cummins, CASE)
  • Skills:

  • Strategic financial planning and analysis

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
  • Costing, pricing strategy, and capital equipment experience
  • Strong analytical reporting and reconciliation capabilities

  • Traits: Discreet, adaptable, hands-on, and confident communicator

  • Bonus: International experience is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to operations and executive leadership
  • Educate teams on financial impact of operational decisions
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis
  • Oversee financial reporting and variance analysis across multiple sites
  • Drive pricing strategies and capital investment decisions
  • Ensure financial integrity and compliance across all units
