Our 90,000 sq. ft. manufacturing building is located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. We specialize in high-quality, close-tolerance micro-miniature top medium sized metal stampings and assemblies to a wide range of industries and markets. We offer rapid prototyping, tool design and construction, ranging from simple stamping dies to complex progressive stamping and forming dies.

Job Overview: A shipping coordinator is responsible for managing the shipment of goods from one place to another. They coordinate with various parties, such as suppliers, carriers, and customers, to ensure that shipments are processed efficiently and delivered on time. Shipping coordinators also track shipments, maintain shipping records, and handle any issues that may arise during the shipping process. Additionally, they may be responsible for ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and maintaining inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare products and materials for shipment according to shipping orders
  • Determine method of shipment, via portals, and routing guidelines
  • Affix shipping labels on packed cartons and verify shipping information
  • Inventory control - perform cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Perform all necessary computer transactions
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
  • Route items to departments
  • Track PRO part numbers of incoming and outgoing movements
  • Perform other tasks as assigned and required.

Qualifications:

  • Have at least 2-3 years' experience in shipping
  • Successfully complete forklift certification program
  • Have ability to train, communicate, and work with others
  • Have the ability to thrive in a fast- pace environment
  • Have good computer skills
  • Perform physical actions which may include frequent bending, twisting, reaching, walking, consistent standing, and the ability to lift/carry and push/pull objects
