We have an impressive track record for a small-ish team - we work with the biggest brands in the world (alongside smaller brands, too) and we have ambitions to expand our influence over the next decade.We're looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer who can bridge engineering excellence and analytical insight designing scalable cloud architectures, automating complex workflows, and translating business questions into reliable, data-driven systems.This role bridges data engineering, MLOps, and solution architecture ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure, intelligence, and impact.What you'll do:Design, build, and operationalize AI-driven data systems in the Google Cloud ecosystem leveraging Vertex AI, BigQuery, Looker, Adverity and related services for automation, analytics, and intelligent decision-making.Deploy, tune, and train LLM models implementing inference pipelines, fine-tuning workflows, and integration into production environments using Vertex AI, Bedrock, or custom APIs.Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines that enable clean, reliable data ingestion for analytics, experimentation, and model training.Lead the end-to-end lifecycle (SDLC) of AI projects from scoping and architecture to deployment, testing, monitoring, and iteration.Collaborate across growth, strategy, and client teams to identify opportunities where AI and data automation can drive measurable business and media performance.Implement measurement and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference, MMM, GeoLift) that link data insights to real-world marketing outcomes.Support the delivery of dashboards through APIs, and automation tools that visualize insights and system performance using Looker, Data Studio, or custom frontends.Oversee DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines , ensuring smooth deployment, observability, and scalability of AI and data systems.Champion governance, data quality, and ethical AI practices , embedding reliability and transparency throughout the stack.Stay current with emerging AI, data, and media technologies continuously exploring new methods and tools for faster, smarter system design.Who you are:Must Haves6+ years of experience in data engineering, ML systems, or applied AI , ideally within a media, analytics, or product organization.Hands-on experience with LLM model deployment, tuning, and training , including integration with APIs and inference pipelines.Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL , with strong data modeling and software engineering foundations.Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform especially Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub , and related tools.Experience managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and maintenance.Strong understanding of DevOps principles including CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, and environment management for analytics or AI workflows.Proven ability to translate business goals into technical solutions and communicate effectively across teams and clients.Strong collaboration and communication skills comfortable presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in media analytics, experimentation, or performance optimization , using frameworks such as MMM, A/B testing, or attribution modeling.Experience with Customer.IO, Snowflake, Branch, Segment, salesforce and similar systems.Computer/data science degree or equivalent training.Nice to HaveExperience with RAG systems , vector databases (Vertex Matching Engine, Pinecone, Weaviate), and embedding pipelines .Familiarity with prompt engineering , LLM evaluation , and agent orchestration (LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph).Knowledge of paid media platforms and measurement tools (GA4, Adverity, Meta Ads, Google Ads, or DV360).Background in forecasting, causal inference, or Bayesian modeling for marketing and business analytics.Prior consulting or client-facing experience , managing multiple workstreams and delivering fast-turnaround technical projects.Why work at Part and Sum?Autonomy : Each team member has clarity and support in their role, but is also given the freedom to tackle work in their own way. We use a transparent compensation framework, and final offers are based on demonstrated skills and experience during the interview process.
