What you'll do

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks with flair and precision.
  • Take customer orders efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring accuracy in every transaction.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders while managing multiple tables effectively.
  • Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling practices are followed.
  • Assist in banquet setups and catering events, showcasing your versatility in different dining settings.
  • Engage with guests to create a lively atmosphere, promoting specials and upselling menu items when appropriate.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
  • Experience in cashiering and retail math for efficient transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of brewing techniques or cocktail preparation to enhance guest experiences.
