      New Foundations Charter School is currently seeking a full-time School Psychologist for the school year.

    Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
    - At least 2 years of previous successful experience working with diverse student populations.
    - Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
    - Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
    - Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
    - Strong assessment and evaluation skills
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of students, families, and professionals
    - Secondary Education experience preferred (High School Level)
    Note: Experience in social work is a plus but not required for this position.

    Job Description:
    -Lead crisis intervention efforts and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavior intervention plan
    - Monitor completion of caseload to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
    - Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social functioning
    - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
    - Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with emotional or behavioral issues - Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote positive mental health and well-being
    - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for interventions
    - Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of school psychology
