Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team in a retail environment. The Stocker will be responsible for ensuring that products are stocked, organized, and readily available for customers. This role is essential in maintaining the overall appearance of the store and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective product placement and inventory management.

Duties

  • Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring that products are faced forward and organized.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient product placement and store layout.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers in locating products.
  • Operate cash registers when needed, processing transactions accurately.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and engage customers.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding stock levels and customer inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

  • Ability to supervise others when necessary, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
