Responsibilities

Related is seeking a dynamic Leasing Director to assist with the day-to-day managing of leasing operations within our luxury residential properties, totaling approx. 2,790 conventional and income-restricted units, across six mixed income sites in the Chicago Region. Within our luxury residential properties, consisting of some of the most luxurious and high-profile properties in some of Chicago's most sought-after neighborhoods.

This position will also lead the lease-up of 400 Lake Shore, an architecturally significant 635-unit luxury rental tower opening for pre-leasing in A second tower is also planned.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS A LEASING DIRECTOR

  • Develop and oversee leasing and marketing strategy for the portfolio, communicate effectiveness of existing platforms and/or suggest alternative options
  • Prepares and presents sites specific and regional reporting on property leasing and market performance to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Analyze market and occupancy trends to identify changing market conditions, and implement changes to pricing/marketing as needed
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets & lease up budgets
  • Monitor leasing performance in relation to each sites target goals
  • Track marketing avenues, oversee marketing campaigns and monitor traffic results
  • Oversee pricing efforts to secure the competitive rents in the current market while encouraging resident retention
  • Regularly update the property and marketing websites
  • Review, approve and countersign leases and lease renewals
  • Interview, on-board and train new Leasing Staff.

COMPENSATION

  • $125,000 to $150,000 / yearly
  • with an annual bonus that is tied to performance
Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of leasing or sales background
  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • College degree or coursework preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with computers including Microsoft Office, calendar management, software/database, and social media
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Available to work a flexible schedule
  • Illinois Leasing License is required within 120 days of employment
  • Yardi or similar property management software experience preferred  
  • Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization and LIHTC affordable program a plus
