What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the premises.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to maintain a professional environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during shifts.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
- Provide visible presence throughout the financial institution location to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
