Now Hiring – PRN Pharmacist

Schedule: PRN, 10-20 shifts per month

Location: onsite in our Lawrence, KS facility

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy/Heartland Homecare – We provide specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Through our dedication to provide excellence to our customers, we have grown from a small independent pharmacy to a multi-state long-term care pharmacy solution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all Pharmacy Professional Practice and Regulatory Requirements
  • Quality Assurance
  • Customer Service, represent TTE onsite and facilitate any accommodations requested by clients.
  • Personnel Management of any support technicians assigned to vaccine clinics.
  • Inventory Management of all provided vaccines.
  • All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred.
  • Must possess a Kansas Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License.
  • Order Entry experience is required.
  • Minimal typing speed of 40WPM preferred.
  • Medical Records experience preferred.
  • Experience with FrameworkLTC preferred.
  • Positive personality who can work well within a team.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy.
